Quick apple topping for ice cream

Preparation time: 8 minutes

Ingredients

  • 22 mL (1 ½ tablespoon) Selection butter
  • 60 mL (1/4 cup) brown sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 mL (1/4 teaspoon) ground cinnamon
  • 2 Quebec apples, cut into small cubes
  • 4 large scoops of Selection vanilla ice cream
  • 125 mL (1/2 cup) granola of your choice

Preparation

  1. In a medium-sized pan, heat the butter on medium and add the brown sugar and cinnamon. Heat for 1 to 2 minutes until you get a syrup.
  2. Add the apples and cook for another minute.
  3. Divide over the ice cream scoops and top with granola. Serve.
