Apple and maple tart

Ingredients
- 4 slices of French bread
- 30 mL (2 tablespoons) Selection butter
- 250 mL (1 cup) Selection unsweetened apple sauce
- 250 mL (1 cup) Selection medium sharp cheddar, shredded
- Maple flakes to taste
Preparation
- Set the oven to broil.
- Toast and butter the bread.
- Add the apple sauce on top of each toast. Top with cheese.
- Place on a baking sheet and broil for 1 minute.
- Sprinkle maple flakes on top and serve hot.
